It is often said in spiritual and holistic circles that one can be energetically “polluted” through sexual relations
First and foremost, I deeply feel that thought is creative; as a result, we experience the world as we create it (which obviously goes beyond the level of the conscious mind).
Therefore, if one “wishes” (in terms of a higher conscious choice) to experience energetic pollution through sexual practices, we may experience it. The reverse is also true: if we have no reason to experience interference or disturbances through sexual exchanges, that is also possible.
In my experience, everything depends on the space from which I enter into a sexual relationship with another. If I am connected from a state of wholeness and abundance, in the “I am,” allowing life to flow through me, then no interference can occur without my knowledge.
On the other hand, if I enter into a sexual relationship from a place of “I must,” “I should,” or “I take,” then I am not in my light, which limits the blossoming of pure, clear life in interaction with the other.
